Ergo IT Recruitment are seeking a Desktop Engineer for a 6 month day rate contract role with a client based in Dublin City Centre.
What will you do?
Deliver 2nd line IT support onsite and remotely
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Build and deploy desktops/laptops using Microsoft SCCM
Install software and manage deployments via SCCM
Complete user handovers and ensure a positive support experience
Perform hardware break/fix and coordinate with suppliers
Reimage devices and maintain accurate asset records
Support Microsoft technologies including M365, Intune, Defender & Copilot
Contribute to internal projects and identify service improvements
What do you need?
2+ years' desktop support experience in an enterprise environment
IT Degree would be advantageous
Strong SCCM experience and solid hardware knowledge Skilled in troubleshooting Windows 10, Citrix, MS Office, networking, and printing
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Process‑driven, organised, and able to prioritise effectively
