Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a solid background in electrical design evaluation, and proficiency in managing complex electrical systems across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, data centres, utilities, and more.The role will involve working on high-profile projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, and contributing to the overall success of the project by providing technical guidance, problem-solving solutions, and optimising engineering processes.Key Responsibilities:Review electrical design documentation for compliance with client and industry standards.
Prepare and issue electrical reports, ensuring alignment with project specifications and technical requirements.
Utilize BIM360 and Navisworks for engineering activities, including the redlining of documents for site usage.
Develop detailed cable schedules and construction work packs for project implementation
Perform and validate cable size calculations and containment capacity studies.
Provide technical expertise and support for complex problem-solving situations across various electrical system
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)
Identify long lead equipment and materials, ensuring timely procurement and delivery.
Propose value engineering (VE) opportunities to optimize project costs and timelines.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various electrical systems, including MV/LV networks, power distribution, BMS/PAS/EAS/PMS, life safety systems, and more
Required Qualifications and Skills:Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Familiarity with BIM360 and Navisworks for design and engineering tasks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
