Role Overview
This is a strategic sales role suited to someone who understands the
biopharma ecosystem
, can navigate complex technical conversations, and enjoys building long-term relationships with decision-makers in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Clinical Operations, and Supply Chain.
You will be responsible for identifying new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting a portfolio of critical services.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
* Identify, qualify and engage pharma/biotech prospects in EU/UK and international markets.
* Build a strong pipeline across clinical-stage biotechs, CDMOs, CROs and pharma manufacturers.
* Deliver consultative, technical discussions on importation, batch release, quality, and regulatory processes.
Client Relationship Management
* Develop deep, credible relationships with Quality Directors, Regulatory Heads, CMC Leads, and Clinical Supply Managers.
* Understand client needs and propose compliant, value-driven solutions.
* Manage and grow strategic accounts through trust, reliability and scientific understanding.
Commercial & Strategic Duties
* Prepare proposals, RFP responses, service agreements and project outlines.
* Represent the company at life sciences conferences, industry events, webinars and client visits.
* Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and client feedback to senior leadership.
* Work closely with QP, QA, regulatory and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Ideal Background & Experience
We are seeking candidates with
credible experience in the life sciences / pharma sector
, ideally in one or more of the following areas:
Industry Experience (strong advantage)
* CDMO / CMO business development
* CRO or clinical trial supply sales
* Pharmaceutical logistics, importation or clinical distribution
* GMP/GDP compliance services
* Regulatory affairs or quality consultancy
* Analytical/lab services, QC/QA solutions sales
Technical Competence
* Familiarity with terms such as GMP, GDP, MIA, IMP, QP release, CMC, audits, deviations, CAPA, stability, batch records, importation pathways.
* Able to engage professionally with scientists, QA managers, regulatory experts, and clinical supply professionals.
General Skills
* Proven B2B sales success in long sales cycles
* Strong technical communication skills
* Relationship builder with consultative sales style
* Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
* Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events
