Bon Secours Hospital Cork is Ireland’s largest private hospital. Established in 1915, the hospital has 344 beds, employs over 1,000 staff and cares for more than 100,000 patients per annum. It is an acute general hospital providing an extensive range of medical and surgical specialties for both adults and children including Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Cardiothoracic and Radiotherapy Services.
We are seeking to recruit a Consultant Gynaecologist to join the existing 3 part-time Gynaecologists working in the Hospital.
We would like to hear from suitably qualified and experienced Consultant Gynaecologists interested in joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team of one Urogynaecologist, one Gynae-oncologist and one General Gynaecologist. The successful applicant will deliver general Gynaecological care including laparoscopic vaginal / open surgery and outpatient consultations.
Application Process:
Applicants must hold registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitled to be so registered
The possession of the MRCPI in Gynaecology or the MRCOG or a qualification equivalent to one of these.
Seven years satisfactory postgraduate training and experience in the medical profession including five years in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
