The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results‑oriented individual to join in the role of Grid Delivery Manager. In this role you will be responsible for delivering large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have high‑level technical understanding of critical HV/MV infrastructure projects including substations, cables and overhead lines, with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization. You will possess strong communication skills and ability to deliver with diverse teams such as design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real estate teams, to ensure delivery to tight timelines. Stakeholder management and weekly reporting on key project risks & issues at senior management, director and vice president level will be your responsibility. You will drive the grid infrastructure delivery program, standardize processes, develop tools for delivery executions and support financial budgeting.

We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a similar technical focus
Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Travel up to 20% of the time
Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive with partial information and high levels of ambiguity
5+ years of experience building power substations, working with utilities and understanding their environment and culture
Experience in analyzing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio
A demonstrated understanding of how to successfully transact business in multiple cultural contexts and experience directly managing international teams is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure
Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) preferred
PMP Certification
Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure
Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators
Ability to communicate in additional languages
