Mechatronics Technician We are currently seeking a Mechatronics Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation systems in a highly regulated industry, with opportunities to contribute to the design, testing, installation, and servicing of complex equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, strong fault-finding skills, and a passion for automation and innovation. Key Responsibilities Perform low voltage cable pulling, terminations, and labelling, including red-lining drawings for updates. Carry out basic mechanical fitting tasks such as cutting, grinding, and general assembly. Troubleshoot and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems. Support in-house testing, programming adjustments, and configuration of new automated systems. Collaborate with the design team on system redesigns and continuous improvement initiatives. Work in a highly regulated environment, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of systems at client sites. Provide ongoing service support, maintenance, and after-sales assistance to existing customers. Education & Experience A Level 6 or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or a related discipline). Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with automation systems, ideally within the medical device or similarly regulated industry. Proven ability in the assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems involving electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience working with PLC-based control systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens) is a strong advantage. Experience with robotics, sensors, and vision systems is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional international travel.
