Job Title: District Manager
Your new company is a leading retailer in Ireland, seeking experienced retail professionals to manage districts and oversee store operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage a district with line manager responsibility for all store managers within your district
* Foster a positive and motivated work environment and ensure smooth collaboration between teams
* Develop, support, and coach store managers within your district
* Analyse and optimise stock movements to improve efficiency
* Conduct regular district tours with sales executives and cash management checks
* Support projects through analysis and provision of feedback
* Oversee store refurbishment, new openings, and re-openings
* Create and implement annual business plans for your district
* Plan KPIs and store staffing structure for your district
* Implement the company strategy in your district
* Prepare for and participate in Area Manager meetings
Requirements:
* A minimum of a 2.1 degree in any discipline or 3+ years of management experience
* Excellent communication, planning, organisation, and analytical skills
* A full driving licence (required)
* Organised, flexible, motivated, and hard-working leader
* Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
* Strong interest in developing a career in retail
* Multi-site experience as an Area Manager would be an advantage
Benefits:
* Starting salary: €74,000 for Trainee Area Manager
* Rising to €84,500 up to €114,000 after 3 years
