Lead Estimator and Bid Manager Opportunity
This exciting role involves providing guidance and leadership to a team of estimators, while also being responsible for managing the cost estimation process. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimates by coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Develop Professional Excellence in Estimating Function: Support Sales and Hire within the Irish Business Unit, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with company policies and client requirements.
* Manage Cost Estimation Process: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
* Implement Quality Control Procedures: Ensure that all bid submissions meet the highest standard.
* Provide Full and Professional Estimating Service: Support Commercial leads in defining Scope of Modular Hire Projects, including cost and margin calculations.
* Evaluate Contractor and Supplier Bids: Deliver category awards and support procurement process.
Requirements:
* Relevant Degree or Technical Qualification: Ideally, hold a relevant degree or technical qualification, however relevant experience is important.
* Estimating/Bid/Order Negotiation Experience: Hold estimating/bid/order negotiation experience within construction.
* Excellent Understanding of Costs and Margins: Have an excellent level of understanding and application of costs, markups, and margins.
* Leadership and Management Skills: Possess experience in leading, managing, developing, and motivating teams.
