Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: Livingston, Scotland
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Livingston. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic systems used in industrial and energy-related applications. The role of Senior Electronics Engineer will involve taking technical ownership of hardware designs from concept through to production, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic hardware.
* Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection.
* Support prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab.
* Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure robust integration.
* Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Strong experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and lab validation.
* Exposure to power electronics, industrial control, or energy systems desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take technical ownership.
