Supermarket Store Manager – North Dublin
Excel Recruitment is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client’s busy store supermarket store in North Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-first approach, and a track record of achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling, and staff supervision
Lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure shelves are always stocked
Handle rostering, training, and performance management for staff members
Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
Monitor store performance and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements
Ideally a minimum of 3- 5 years` experience in a dynamic retail management position
Strong people management and leadership skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing costs
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
