We are recruiting an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Carrigaline on a specified purpose contract with an approximate duration of 9 months.
Responsibilities
Primary Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for processing invoices and ensuring payment is within credit terms.
2. Review outstanding goods receipts report and investigate outstanding balances.
3. Deal with external vendors daily regarding payments, statements, and problems arising.
4. Meet internally with colleagues across departments to resolve accounts payable issues.
5. Complete key tasks/reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting at month end.
6. Perform monthly vendor reconciliations for key vendors.
7. Exercise internal controls to maintain compliance with financial policies and global control standards.
8. Review compliance regularly to ensure continued adherence.
9. Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure audit and statutory compliance.
10. Prepare documentation and analyze current processes aiming for standardization, automation, and elimination.
11. Investigate and implement best practices and new opportunities within the PepsiCo Ireland Controls & Reporting Team.
12. Seek opportunities to improve efficiencies and KPIs through automation and process improvements.
13. Maintain and develop best practice documentation within your remit.
14. Contribute to the company's compliance with all relevant legislation regarding commercial, environmental, safety, and other aspects.
15. Adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
1. Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a busy Accounts Payable environment, preferably in a multinational setting.
2. Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is desirable.
3. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, especially at month-end.
4. Strong team player with good communication skills, capable of interacting across departments and management levels.
5. Self-sufficient and efficient in a multi-task environment.
6. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and manage change initiatives.
7. Ability to resolve issues promptly and influence others to implement solutions.
8. Customer-focused with a commitment to meeting Service Level Agreements.
