For more information, please visit Position SummaryThe Credit & Collection Analyst is responsible for independently managing an EMEA accounts receivable portfolio with a focus on Germany, Switzerland & Austria. This includes managing day-to-day customer contact & relationships, collections, and troubleshooting customers' exceptions to invoices with a continuous improvement mindset. The candidate should have demonstrated the ability to deliver consistent improvement in collection results while building rapport and strong relationships. The position will require collaboration with customers, Sales, and all internal partners.The Sr. Credit & Collection Analyst will act as a liaison with the Credit team and all other order-to-cash partners and Teleflex business units, with a focus on building relationships with external customers. The Credit and Collections Analyst will work closely with Managers with a process improvement mindset, which includes a solution-focused mindset, excellent customer service attitude, and open communication.Principal ResponsibilitiesThe Ability to problem-solve customer credit risk, reasons for lateness, Collections, and resolve billing issues as they arise, and proactively work through a solution and or/present options to ManagementDemonstrate the ability to work independently and as a teamReport portfolio status on demand and effectively utilize systems available to create those reportsUnderstand the concept of Credit risk and the ability to apply it to day-to-day work to reduce risk to TeleflexRoot cause and create solutions to all non-standard customer disputes or reasons for non-paymentLook for and communicate ideas to improve the process over timeSupport other finance activities like Tax Certifications and invoice/internal control filing, and delivery of paperwork inside and outside the officeWork in collaboration with peers and Managers for a win-win outcomeReduce write-offs to bad debt and third-party collections by proactively collecting on accounts receivableEvaluate process and ensure compliance with policyHybrid work schedule in the office and building rapport with other OTC partnersEducation / Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance or accounting-preferredA minimum of 2 -4 years of Credit and Collections experienceKnowledge of and ability to apply accounting principles and proceduresSAP Proficiency Preferred.
