We create and work on high-level advertising campaigns with brands like Musgraves (SuperValu and Centra), Disney+, Catrice Cosmetics, Very, Science Week, MARS, SVP, Disney and more. We also work on multiple events and event sponsorships, with event partners including: Enterprise Ireland, Google, Steve Madden, Dripping Gold, FIAT, Aperol, Malfy Gin, Oh Polly, essence, Versace, FlyeFit, NOW and more.
We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth across Goss.ie’s media and event portfolio.
This is a high-level role for a commercially minded leader who can develop new business opportunities, nurture key client relationships, and deliver creative partnership solutions for some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital media sales, sponsorship, and partnership development, and be confident leading commercial strategy for marquee events such as The Gossies, Women of the Year, and other flagship events.
Key Responsibilities
* Revenue Leadership: Drive overall revenue growth across digital, branded content, and event sponsorships, setting and exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
* Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key clients including NOW, Disney+, Musgraves, Very, Catrice Cosmetics, and Google, ensuring long-term collaboration and high client satisfaction.
* Sponsorship & Partnerships: Lead on premium sponsorship packages for major Goss.ie events — including The Gossies and Women of the Year Awards — developing tailored brand integrations and media opportunities.
* Strategy & Innovation: Identify new commercial opportunities across content, social, and experiential activations to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
* Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, creative, and production teams to ensure all campaigns deliver on both brand and client KPIs.
* Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic growth initiatives.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior commercial staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance excellence.
Key Skills & Experience
* 5+ years’ experience in commercial roles within media, publishing, or digital advertising.
* Demonstrated success in securing and managing six-figure sponsorship or partnership deals.
* Strong understanding of branded content, event marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A creative, proactive, and data-informed approach to commercial growth.
* Existing relationships with media agencies and major consumer brands.
