Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to join their expanding team.
Role Overview
The Clinical Application Specialist will provide expert clinical support across hospitals in Limerick and neighbouring counties. This role involves working closely with surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital staff to ensure the safe and effective use of the company’s orthopaedic and theatre product portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically minded, proactive individual who enjoys a mix of theatre support, training, education, and relationship building within the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-theatre support during orthopaedic and trauma procedures, ensuring correct product use and offering real‑time guidance.
Deliver comprehensive product training and education to surgeons, theatre nurses, and wider hospital teams.
Support product trials, evaluations, and implementations within hospital settings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders across the territory.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product launches and demonstrations.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge across the orthopaedic, trauma, lab, pharmacy, and theatre range.
Troubleshoot product or application issues and provide prompt resolution.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital‑specific protocols.
Requirements
Clinical or healthcare background (e.g., theatre nurse, physiotherapist, ODP, biomedical/medical science, or similar) highly desirable.
Experience supporting clinical procedures or working within a theatre environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train multidisciplinary teams.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Limerick and surrounding counties.
Organised, self‑driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.
Ability to manage a dynamic schedule and respond to theatre callouts when required.
