Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our company adheres to both local and corporate environmental standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with at least 4 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. They will also hold an IED Licence (Hybrid working available after training).
Responsibilities:
* Implement requirements/conditions set out in sites IED (Industrial Emissions) License, Greenhouse Gas Permit and other Environmental Programs
* Provide technical assistance for site environmental programs
* Act as point of contact for environmental compliance
* Create a positive culture for environmental performance
* Facilitate implementation of various environmental programs across the site
* Assist in implementing conditions set out in sites new IED Licence and Greenhouse Gas Permit
* Support site environmental sampling and monitoring requirements
* Be a resource to all areas in helping them understand regulatory requirements of their areas and programs
* Work with them in implementing solutions that comply with these regulations and programs
* Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) improvement projects
* Compile environmental reporting for both regulatory and corporate requirements
Requirements:
* BSc or MSc in Environmental Science or similar
* 4 years + experience working in the pharmaceutical industry essential
* IED Licence essential
