Description
Responsibilities include research, analysis, monitoring, and support for pipeline strategy and business development opportunities, by synthesizing data from various areas such as market, financial, medical scientific rationale, regulatory, and others. Develop, coordinate, and manage research findings into concise product files and/or presentations.
As our Pipeline and Portfolio Manager, your key responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Identify and develop initial assessments of potential product development opportunities.
2. Provide periodic reviews of market data, database listings, and competitive intelligence for a steady flow of new product development or acquisition opportunities.
3. Build and maintain a product data repository for both the portfolio and pipeline products.
4. Build and maintain financial models for new opportunities and existing pipeline products.
5. Develop complex pipeline analyses for innovative products, including scientific rationale.
6. Contribute to the overall company strategy by developing budgets and conducting market analysis to support decision-making.
7. Align strategies with the future pipeline and prepare business case proposals for new products that meet local customer needs.
8. Develop complex analyses for selecting products for R&D, including liaising with internal departments to lead feasibility until project launch.
9. Create a database/tracker summarizing product info, key findings, decisions, and action items.
10. Support pipeline prioritization and decision-making using various databases, industry monitoring, and internal progress tracking.
11. Communicate relevant information to optimize the portfolio.
12. Support business case development and financial analysis for business development activities.
13. Identify, approach, negotiate, and manage relationships with existing or prospective development partners.
14. Negotiate term sheets, LOIs, and agreements with partners, CROs, and CMOs.
15. Monitor competitor activities and report to business leaders to inform decisions.
16. Collaborate with key departments such as R&D, Production, Regulatory, and others.
17. Coordinate with internal and external partners to monitor project development status, timelines, budgets, and risks.
18. Perform other activities related to portfolio management and new product development.
Education & Experience:
* Pharma-related studies (Pharmacy, Chemical, Medicine, etc.) and an advanced degree in statistics, data science, or management are a plus.
* Advanced English skills.
* Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel) and Salesforce.
* Experience with pharmaceutical databases, including IQVIA.
* Familiarity with regulatory websites like HPRA, FDA, etc.
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
