Tax Accountant – Tech - Cork
Are you an experienced Tax Accountant ready to take on a dynamic, challenging role within a multinational environment?
Our client is looking for an ambitious tax professional to join their tax department at their European Head Office based in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across finance, operations, and commercial sectors while enhancing your expertise in tax accounting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, collate, and submit various compliance returns, including Corporation Tax, VAT, WHT, and statistical reports across European entities.
2. Handle monthly tax provisions and reports for financial and statutory purposes.
3. Coordinate tax queries, reviews, and audits, liaising with external service providers and tax authorities.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Reconcile tax accounts for balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for all European entities.
6. Prepare transfer pricing reports and review policies.
7. Manage compliance calendars to ensure timely submissions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. ACCA/ACA/CPA and CTA Qualified professional with 1 to 3 years post qualified experience.
2. Hands-on experience in tax accounting and compliance, particularly Corporation Tax.
3. Superb attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards taking ownership of responsibilities.
4. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
5. A collaborative nature with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence others.
6. A keen interest in learning and adapting to new systems and technologies.
