Job Title: Executive Chef Food Production Lead
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our food production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of fresh, handmade meals, baked goods, and desserts to a high standard.
About the Role:
* Prepare and cook meals, baked goods, and desserts to meet daily and weekly production targets.
* Follow established recipes and production plans to ensure consistency and quality across all products.
* Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
* Develop new menu items and seasonal product ranges in collaboration with the Head Chef and production team.
* Ensure excellent food safety and hygiene practices in line with HACCP and company policies.
* Manage stock rotation and support with ingredient prep, portioning, and labeling.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a professional kitchen or food production environment.
* A genuine passion for cooking and fresh, artisan food.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
* Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Culinary qualification is an advantage but not essential.
