Finance Projects & Transformation Manager

Join us as a Communications Manager (Maternity Leave Contract)

Provide strategic finance leadership across all priority initiatives, programmes, and projects, ensuring alignment of financial objectives, integrated programme timelines, and a coherent cross-finance narrative.

What else it involves:

* Lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across core processes to elevate operational effectiveness and strategic decision-making.
* Partner proactively with Programme Managers to anticipate, escalate, and resolve delivery risks and roadblocks, enabling timely, high-quality programme execution.
* Collaborate with IT and cross-functional business teams to design, implement, and optimise enterprise-grade solutions, ensuring they meet both strategic and operational finance requirements.
* Champion automation, advanced analytics, and digital finance capabilities, driving modernisation and enhancing insight, speed, and scalability across the finance function.
* Ensure that the Quarterly objective setting process correctly reflects the finance targets and considers both inbound and outbound dependencies in collaboration
* Embed best-in-class planning, reporting, and forecasting frameworks, strengthening financial performance management and enabling robust, forward-looking decision support.
* Lead change management and stakeholder engagement activities to drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and agile ways of working, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, data quality, insight generation, and overall business value, ensuring programme outcomes translate into tangible organisational benefits.
* Establish a sustained programme of continuous business improvement, embedding it as a core capability within the finance function and ensuring long-term operational excellence.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the finance leadership team and senior business stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, constructive challenge, and insight to shape business direction.

The Skills we are looking for:

* Substantial previous experience in influencing and operating at senior level in a large organisation
* Strong background in finance operations and transformation, ideally in telecoms
* Experience with ERP/EPM systems, Oracle preferably
* Knowledge of automation tools and digital finance trends
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Proven track record delivering large-scale change programmes
* Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, working independently and self-driven
* Highly flexible with an appetite to take on a variety of activities
* Proficient in financial budget management

Qualifications:

* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
* 7+ years' relevant experience in finance transformation, or senior finance roles.
* Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) advantageous.
