The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced
Design Manager
to lead an established in-house design team.
The successful candidate will oversee the full design process from tender through to production, ensuring technical accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage design programmes in line with client requirements and contractual agreements.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of in-house designers.
Oversee technical aspects of projects, resolving internal and external design queries.
Collaborate with estimating and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing standards.
Engage with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in design quality and efficiency.
The Person
The role is open to both seasoned design managers, as well as senior design engineers looking to take the next step into a design manager role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in timber frame or modular build design.
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of digital project delivery processes.
