The Client: My Client a c.€100m T/O Main Contractor with a very good name in the Irish Construction industry. They have been trading 100+ years and growing their presence in the West of Ireland. This particular project is a renovation project for a 5* Hotel project in Co. Clare. I am looking for 3no. Site Manager and at least 1no. Finishing Foreman. The project is 12 weeks in to a 3-4 years, €40M-€50M project. If you are an Internals Site Manager/Finishing foreman or a carpenter/joiner with a keen eye for detail and a some kind of Qualification in a Construction related subject I'd be very keen to talk with you. We're ideally looking for someone with previous Finishing Foreman experience, a good attention to detail and, ideally having a trade (carpentry/joinery/plastering/plumbing/electrician etc). As this is an established, close-knit team, we're also looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in what they do and seeing others do well. As this position has supervisory responsibilities, we are also looking for someone has the ability to develop people and processes and who possesses excellent communication skills. Main responsibilities will include: Work closely with Site Manager/Project Manager to organise daily requirements including: labour, ordering of materials, expected daily targets. Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site Directing of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained Perform company compliance and administration procedures and record performance and progress of site operations Requirements: Enjoy working and have a keen eye for detail. Don't take yourself too seriously and like working with people, getting the job done to a satisfactory standard. 2+ years experience in similar position (this can include Site Manager/Foreman/Finishing Foreman/Site Supervisor/Charge Hand). Ideally have a qualification in construction relate subject or hold trade certificates. Previous experience working on commercial/residential fit out projects. Have the ability to lead personnel, use initiative and be self-motivated. Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards. Ability to work well under pressure and perform to specified deadlines. Full clean drivers license. What's on offer?
