This newly created role forms part of a broader finance transformation led by the CFO.The RoleThe Senior Commercial Finance Manager will lead financial planning, analysis, and commercial insight across the firm. Reporting to the CFO, the role will partner closely with practice leaders and senior stakeholders to support pricing decisions, investment analysis, and strategic planning. This is a build role, offering significant scope to shape how commercial insight is generated and used across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesFP&A & Performance ReportingLead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.Deliver clear, actionable analysis and variance commentary.Pricing & ProfitabilitySupport partners with pricing strategy and matter-level profitability analysis.Develop insight into client, practice, and firm-level performance.Commercial AdvisoryBuild financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.Act as a trusted commercial advisor to partners and senior leadership.Process & Capability DevelopmentDesign and enhance FP&A frameworks, tools, and reporting processes.Support the development of a scalable commercial analytics capability.Candidate ProfileQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Typically 5+ years post-qualification experience with strong FP&A, business partnering or commercial finance experience.Experience in professional services with a partnership structure or similar complex environments.Strong analytical, modelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.Comfortable operating without fully mature data or systems initially.Why Join?Build a commercial finance function from the ground up.High visibility and influence across the partnership.Defined pathway toward a Head of Commercial / FP&A role
