Guardians ad litem are independent qualified and experienced professionals appointed by the Court to safeguard the interests of children and young people in court proceedings.The Guardian ad litem National Service is now seeking to appoint a Head of Legal Services Unit. Reporting to the Director of the Guardian ad litem National Service, the Head of Legal Services Unit will be a member of the senior management team and will be involved in the establishment/formation of the service.Once up and running, they will develop an organisational culture of collaboration focused on putting the child at the centre of service provision.
