Are you an experienced Logistics professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a leading international contractor to recruit a Logistics Manager for a landmark hyperscale data centre project in South Dublin.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role on one of Ireland’s most high-profile construction projects within the rapidly expanding data centre sector. As Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the safe, efficient, and coordinated movement of materials and deliveries across a complex, fast-paced site environment.
You’ll be joining a company known for delivering mission-critical infrastructure across Europe, with a strong reputation for innovation, safety, and employee development. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operation and management of all site storage and compound areas.
* Coordinate and schedule all material deliveries, ensuring alignment with project timelines and site requirements.
* Liaise with subcontractors to ensure safe and accurate delivery of materials from off-site storage to designated locations.
* Maintain organised delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on-site in a structured and timely manner.
* Lead pre-start meetings with subcontractors to communicate site constraints, delivery logistics, and booking procedures via the Datascope system.
* Implement and monitor traffic management plans to ensure safe and efficient vehicle movement on-site.
* Supervise and verify all deliveries, ensuring completeness and compliance with safety protocols.
* Prevent congestion on site roads by ensuring all loading/unloading takes place within the designated compound areas.
* Manage on-site operatives and enforce adherence to health & safety policies and site procedures.
* Record and track labour allocation and site activity reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar logistics or site management role, ideally within large-scale construction projects.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
* Solid understanding of site logistics, material handling, compound coordination, and traffic management.
* Familiarity with Datascope or similar logistics booking systems is preferred.
