Our client is an established consulting engineering company with locations in Ireland and the UK. They have an excellent reputation and have worked on various projects including environmental, educational, commercial, and industrial developments, civil and structural, mechanical and electrical, environmental impact assessment, planning services, water services, flood risk assessments, and flood alleviation works.
Your new role
You will join a busy design team experiencing an increase in projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience in structural design and the ability to work independently to coordinate models with internal and external design team members, including architects and building services. This role offers an opportunity to mentor junior team members and manage projects. The team is responsible for a broad range of commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings and developments. Responsibilities include undertaking design elements according to current regulations and standards, managing the production of drawings and reports, coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines, and attending meetings with clients and other consultants.
Requirements
* Degree qualification in BIM, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Ideally, 5 years of experience working on various projects.
* Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and other modeling software to produce 3D designs.
* Experience in Ireland or the UK is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Excellent planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
