We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic baker to join our production team. We require someone with excellent planning and organisational skills. They will be working as part of a team, however they must be able to work on their own initiative. They will have a proven track record of following recipes, food preparation and hygiene procedures. They must have a deep running passion for excellence in the quality of work that they produce.
Responsibilities
* Preparing dough for various breads, using weigh scales and ingredient recipe sheets.
* Controlling dough fermentation, Shape products & part-bake as require.
* Manage all sourdough culture & refresh for production.
* Maintain production schedule without supervision.
* Complete production records to include the tracking of waste, temperature and quality.
* Maintain hygiene and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area.
* Handle all food items correctly in keeping with HACCP training.
Essential Criteria
* Four years of strong experience as a baker in fast paced environment.
* Passionate about your work and food that you produce.
* Willingness to learn.
* Team player.
* Can do attitude.
* Strong work ethic
*Candidates with experience or knowledge of sourdough bread will be at a distinct advantage*
