We have a fantastic opportunity for a Claims Team Leader in Healthcare Insurance in Dublin.
You will provide clear, visible leadership to the team through simple and engaging communication. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will drive performance to meet SLAs and targets.
You will review claims processes from end to end, identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical improvements. By highlighting where work can be streamlined or automated, you will help make processes faster, clearer, and more effective.
Regular performance conversations will form a core part of your role. You will provide clear, constructive feedback on accuracy, productivity, and service delivery, while supporting capacity planning through review of workloads, capability, and future demand.
As a technical escalation point, you will support the team with complex claims, queries, and exceptions. You will act as a trusted source of guidance on both technical matters and claims processes.
Compliance will remain central to everything you do. You will ensure claims handling meets CPC and regulatory standards, working closely with QA to monitor outcomes and resolve complaints.
Skills you will have when you apply
Professional Insurance Qualification-You hold an APA or CIP insurance qualification in Ireland. This is essential for the role.
Claims Leadership Experience-You have worked as a Claims Team Leader and are confident in leading people and making decisions.
Claims Operations Knowledge-You understand end‑to‑end claims processes, key decision points, quality standards, and complaint handling.
People Management & Coaching-You are experienced in coaching team members, holding clear performance conversations, and motivating others to do their best work.
Process & Data Insight-You can use trackers, workflow tools, and claims data to spot issues, manage workloads, and improve how work is done.
Strong Communication & IT Skills-You communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders and are comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
