As part of the Development Learning leadership team, you will partner with senior leaders, stakeholders, and enterprise CoEs to identify learning needs, develop strategies, and implement solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead partnerships with senior leaders and CoEs to create an integrated learning strategy aligned with business priorities, focusing on functional capability and skill development.Identify and synthesize learning needs across various sources to connect and align requirements across CD, AQS, and GCO.Oversee the delivery of a complex learning portfolio for a matrixed organization, ensuring impactful capability development initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to understand needs and measure impact.Drive stakeholder satisfaction by delivering high-quality, innovative learning solutions and measuring business impact.Provide thought leadership on learning and development best practices, trends, and strategies.Leverage industry trends to continuously improve learning deliverables.Collaborate across Novartis enterprise, including People & Organization, Talent Development, and Learning CoE.Influence overall learning strategy and decisions to align with business goals.Lead and coach teams to deliver high-quality learning solutions with measurable outcomes.Utilize data-driven approaches to measure and optimize learning outcomes.Qualifications and ExperienceAdvanced degree in pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or related field.15+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in Good Clinical Practices and learning requirements.10+ years leading high-performing learning and development teams.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.Proven experience in developing learning strategies aligned with business priorities.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong project management and organizational skills.Expertise in adult education theory and practice.Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.Preferred AttributesStrategic mindset for analyzing and planning needs.Proactive stakeholder engagement and adaptability.Expertise in clinical drug development and GCP.Why Join NovartisContribute to transforming patient lives through innovative science in a collaborative environment.
