Our team is seeking an electrical engineer with 2-5 years of experience to fill a key role in our biotechnology sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, specification and commissioning of new and upgraded electrical systems, as well as providing engineering support and troubleshooting for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical System Design: Design and maintain low voltage systems, including lighting, general services, UPS protection settings, arc flash and ELV systems, such as fire alarm datapoints and building automation.
* Project Management: Manage small-scale electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
* Engineering Support: Provide engineering support, site acceptance testing and installation of electrical equipment, including design reviews and validation activities.
* Drawing and Documentation: Prepare and maintain electrical drawings and related documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Cleanroom Equipment Design: Design and specify cGMP-compliant E&I equipment and process controls for cleanroom environments.
* Integration and Validation: Manage systems integrated with business IT networks, supporting validation activities by preparing design documentation and assisting with protocol execution.
* Troubleshooting: Investigate equipment and control system issues, including power quality events, and prepare engineering evaluations and execute change control documentation.
* Contractor Supervision: Supervise electrical contractors and ensure compliance with required standards, regulations and company policies.
* Risk Assessment and Compliance: Develop risk assessments, method statements and ensure site health & safety compliance, maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies and regulations.
* Compliance and Reputation: Uphold company reputation by ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, standards and policies.
