Project Scheduler - Pharma
12 months contract
Cork, Shanbally based, Hybrid as a minimum
Salary: €62,000 - €72,000/annum pro rata
We are partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical company to hire an experienced Project Scheduler to support complex technical development and operational project portfolios within a high-performing biologics and manufacturing environment.
This role will focus on project scheduling, resource planning, forecasting, governance, and reporting across multiple technical programmes using Microsoft Project and related planning tools.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project across multiple technical projects
Coordinate project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables from initiation through completion
Support Project Leads and Managers with planning, tracking, and schedule management activities
Perform resource loading, demand forecasting, and headcount planning across project portfolios
Generate scheduling reports including Actual vs Planned analysis, S-curves, and scheduling adherence reports
Manage schedule change requests, risk register updates, and impact analysis activities
Support project governance processes, stakeholder communication, and project status reporting forums
Key Skills & Experience Required
5+ years of experience scheduling technical or operational project portfolios
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Project and strong experience with project planning/scheduling tools such as Planview
Strong understanding of resource capacity planning, forecasting, and workload analysis
Experience supporting operational projects within pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or technical environments
Proven ability to manage complex project schedules, dependencies, and reporting requirements
Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience producing S-curves, milestone tracking, and governance reports
PMP Certification required; Planview experience highly desirable
