Senior Occupational TherapistChildren's Disability Network TeamPart Time PostsThis is an exciting opportunity for Senior Occupational Therapists to join our service to support children and their families, presenting with complex needs arising from a disability.The Occupational Therapist is a valuable member of the Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) who will provide a quality evidence-based service in line with Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles including family-centred practice.We have looking to recruit for positions working on our Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs). St. Michael's House have 4 CDNTs located in Ballymun, Coastal, Coolock and Kilbarrack.The successful candidate must have the following:Essential CriteriaDegree or Masters in Occupational Therapy accredited to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.Fully registered or registration in process with CORU.A minimum of 3 years post graduate clinical working experience.Minimum 1 year experience in the area of paediatrics.Excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work in a self directed manner.Excellent ability to work with complex cases as part of a team.Committed to the delivery of quality, family-centred, community-based servicesEvidence of CPD in leadership/mentoring/supervision.Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) in the relevant area.Desirable CriteriaClinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs including Autism, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability.Experience in supporting 24-hour postural management needs with a recognised seating/postural management course completed.Experience in the implementation of sensory integration approaches with a recognised sensory integration course completed.Previous experience related to Assessment of Need.Full clean driving licence and use of a carSalary scale : €63,912 - €75,254 LSI· Should you have no prior public sector experience you will be placed on point 1 of the pay-scale aboveBenefits of working in St Michael's HouseHSE Pay Scale (incremental*)Premium Payments (Frontline staff)Sick Pay SchemePaid Maternity LeavePensionCycle to Work SchemeGenerous Annual LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgrammeTraining / CPDCareer ProgressionA 12 month panel will be created for future posts across our 4 CDNT's.To Apply:· A comprehensive CV, detailing education, skills, career history, experience.· 2.
