The Killarney Avenue Hotel, a 4* 66‑bedroom hotel located in the heart of Killarney, is part of the O'Donoghue Ring Collection. The team is seeking an experienced Full‑Time Front Desk Receptionist to join for five shifts per week, working a variety of shifts including weekends.
What you’ll do
Manage all reception duties as part of the wider Front Office Team.
Ensure guests are completely satisfied through prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure the service is provided to the level required and beyond expectations.
Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within all front office departments.
Answer the switchboard and hotel telephone in accordance with company service standards.
Develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments.
About you
Previous experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel is an advantage.
A team player with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Detail orientated, with a desire to progress within the luxury hospitality market.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Hotsoft operating system would be an advantage but is not essential.
Fluent English language skills are essential.
