Finance
Job Purpose
Contribute and assist the finance team in operating the finance function of a global trading company.
Responsible for producing weekly management accounts while adhering to strict deadlines
Reports To
Management Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Assisting in the preparation of weekly management accounts for multiple technologies whilst adhering to strict deadlines
Assisting in production, margin & yield analysis for multiple technologies; investigating & explaining any variances
Sales & purchases analysis
Assisting in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and increased efficiencies
Assisting with data gathering for input into budgets and forecasts
Assisting with customer profitability analysis
Direct cost reporting, insight & analysis
Identify process opportunities for improvement to ensure efficient ways of working
Develop appropriate relationships across all departments to improve service to internal customers and aid data collection for decision making
Overhead analysis
Liaise with sales, production, operations & inventory teams
Adhoc projects
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
A relevant qualification of a recognised body is required
Excellent interpersonal & communications skills
Strong IT skills, knowledge of Excel essential, knowledge of Insight a distinct advantage
Possess an analytical mind-set for the purpose of solving problems using well proven strategic approaches to identifying resolution
Pays close attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks / priorities
High energy, team player with strong record of meeting goals and objectives
Shows initiative and understands what needs to be done to be successful
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Organised and methodical
Has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding deadlines
Has ability to impact positively on those around them and ensure a positive working environment
Fixed Term Contract.
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.
Some travel will be required.
Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate's eligibility to work in Ireland.
