Aviation Client Service Leader

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work virtually and from our Dublin, Shannon and Cork offices.
Our client lead will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of new and existing aviation clients, working closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth.
The role involves maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with underwriters to provide tailored best-in-class insurance solutions. It requires a deep understanding of aviation industry in Ireland, related insurance products, and the ability to provide exceptional client service.

What your day will look like
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow our aviation client portfolio.
- Provide technical advice and assistance as required to clients and colleagues across a range of aviation insurance products.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits of Aon's risk and insurance solutions.
- Together with the risk capital business leaders, drive our sales performance, identifying opportunities to increase product and solution line density and maximise our win rate for new opportunities.
- Work with the business to drive EMEA Growth Priorities and track progress and success accordingly.
- Ownership of the tender process for new logos and opportunities generated by your commercial activities including, the design, build and delivery of bid returns.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Aon's services.
- Collaborate with underwriters to design and negotiate comprehensive insurance solutions that meet and exceed client needs.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Control and manage CRM growth systems within the team.
- Compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and business procedures, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

This opportunity would suit one who can work both autonomously and collaboratively with the teamand eager to manage clients from cradle to grave, to be eager to learn about the ever change risks facing the aviation industry.
The aviation team are highly experienced, enthusiastic team players where one can grow and learn whilst working in a complex global matrix environment with a mix of functional, business and geographic leaders. The Global Aviation team amounts to 120+ advisors worldwide.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- A proven record in delivering results, product innovation, negotiating renewal deals, securing new clients, and jeopardy account management
- Several years of relevant Insurance broking experience, including an understanding of aviation risks
- An understanding of the aviation ecosystem in Ireland and risks facing the industry
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurers and colleagues
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with an ability to work on own initiative and prioritise deadlines and workloads
- Establish Aon Aviation as a leading player in this sector
- Progress towards the Chartered Insurance Institute examinations (ACII), with a minimum achievement of CIP
