We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in a part-time position.
This role involves providing high-quality patient-centered care for patients and their families at our hospital.
* Deliver the highest possible standard of care to all patients.
* Act as a mentor to pre-registration students, clinical staff and non-clinical staff.
* Liaise with link lecturers from affiliated nurse education departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop effective communication and interpersonal relationships with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Support the unit manager by meeting agreed responsibilities.
* Identify and discuss nursing/patient needs with consultants/nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients and carers.
Clinical Skills:
* Maintain high standards of patient care and patient safety.
* Demonstrate and promote a patient-centered style of clinical practice.
* Have a working knowledge of publications related to nursing practices.
Health and Safety:
* Uphold the hospital's policy requirements in relation to Fire, Infection Control, Radiation Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
* Observe a general duty of care for the health, safety and well-being of self, work colleagues, visitors and patients within the hospital.
