The HR Operations Lead will champion best practice, manage industrial relations and support the site through ongoing transformation and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational HR LeadershipOversee day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring consistent application of policies and proceduresLead and guide the HR team, providing coaching, direction, and supportEnsure HR best practices are embedded across the siteMaintain strong HR governance, documentation, and compliance standardsChange Management & Organisational DevelopmentLead the site's change management programme from planning through to implementationSpend approximately 60% of time on the shop floor, coaching managers and employees, embedding change initiatives and supporting operational programmesDrive organisational and cultural change using structured OD and change management tools, including the HR roadmapSupport transformation projects and ensure alignment with business prioritiesIndustrial Relations & Employee EngagementManage all industrial relations activity for the siteBuild constructive relationships with trade union representatives and operational leadersSupport ER cases, investigations and grievance/disciplinary processesPromote positive engagement and contribute to site‑wide people initiativesWorkforce Support & Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with all functions on site to support workforce planning and people processesCoordinate site HR activity with Danone central programmes and corporate requirementsEnsure compliance with Irish employment legislation and implement updates as requiredOversee onboarding, offboarding, performance processes and lifecycle activitiesExperience & SkillsDegree or Diploma in HR or related fieldMinimum 5 years' relevant HR experienceStrong HR Operations or HR Generalist background within a multidisciplined environmentProven experience implementing transformation or change programmesExperience in unionised environments (manufacturing, FMCG, industrial advantageous)Excellent knowledge of Irish employment legislationStrong communication, influencing and coaching skillsHighly organised, resilient and comfortable in a fast‑paced operational settingAt Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
