The Mercantile Hotel has officially opened its doors in the heart of Dublin City and we're growing our Front Office team We're now looking for a welcoming, professional, and service-driven Receptionist to join us as we continue to build a reputation for warm hospitality and excellent guest experiences.This is a brilliant opportunity to join one of the city's newest hotel teams and help shape a high quality, people first culture right at reception where every guest journey begins.Key Responsibilities:Greet and welcome all guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a great first impression.Manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently while ensuring all guest needs are met.Provide helpful information on hotel services, local attractions, and events in the area.Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person queries in a prompt and courteous manner.Handle guest feedback with care and professionalism, working with management to resolve any issues.Work closely with the Reservations Manager to support room allocations and group bookings.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe reception area, following health and safety standards.Carry out administrative duties including billing, cash handling, and credit card transactions, following company policies.What We're Looking For:Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role, ideally in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.A friendly and approachable personality with a genuine passion for guest service.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with hotel booking systems or property management systems (PMS) is a plus.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.What We Offer:Competitive salaryStaff discounts across hotel servicesGym membership discountTaxSaver travel benefitsA supportive team environment and career development opportunitiesEAP program with free counselling and wellbeing appIf you're looking to join a growing team in a stylish, modern hotel setting, and you take pride in creating memorable guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
