Job Description
We are seeking a Procurement Support Specialist to join our team in the Procurement Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in procurement activities, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring effective stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
* To participate in general procurement activities, including requisition processing and purchase ordering.
* To assist the line manager in the day-to-day management of the assigned procurement function.
* To monitor the performance of suppliers and ensure all stock and other assets are properly accounted for.
* To adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
* To collaborate with line managers in identifying items with contract potential and assist in developing customer-based services.
* To work closely with relevant stakeholders in relation to planning the required service.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
