Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their international legal function, based in Dublin. This is a 6–12 month interim contract offering exposure to complex, high-impact work across multiple business areas. As part of the European Legal team, you’ll partner closely with business leaders and support with initiatives at both local and group level.
Responsibilities
* Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial, insurance and regulatory agreements
* Support the General Counsel and executive team in managing Central Bank of Ireland and European regulatory requirements
* Advise on compliance initiatives, monitor and implement EU and Irish regulatory changes
* Work collaboratively with legal and compliance colleagues across Europe
The ideal person
* Qualified lawyer (Ireland) with experience in insurance/financial services and corporate/commercial law
* Proven track record supporting management and cross-functional teams
* Skilled in commercial negotiation in a fast-moving environment
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
