Independently owned and operated, our 5* International Luxury hotel is looking for Stewarding Supervisorto join our team. In order to apply for this position you must have: Previous experience in a similar role Good command of the English language - Written & Verbal Fully flexible in working day, night & weekend shifts Main duties: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department. - Ensure the proper use of and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment used by the Stewarding department. - Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, Stewarding Department machinery, compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule. - Assure proper sanitation and hygiene techniques as well as the movement of garbage throughout the hotel. Also: to load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly to load and unload pots, pans and kitchen utensils from the potwashing machine and store them properly to load and unload glassware from glasswashing machine and store them properly to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area to wash all pots, equipment parts, pans, etc. to clean kitchen walls, ceilings, floors, drains, reach-in coolers, walk-in freezers and other locations Some of our many benefits...
