Solution Architect: Network Intelligence & Digital Twins
Zinkworks is seeking a specialized Solution Architect to bridge the gap between deep Telecom engineering (Radio/Core) and modern Cloud-native AI. You will be the primary architect for building Digital Twins of the network and designing Agentic AI systems that automate complex troubleshooting and optimization tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-native platforms.
Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs.
Provide leadership across engineering teams, ensuring architectural best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders across AI/ML, data, DevOps, and QA teams.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).
Agentic Framework Design: Lead the architecture for "LLM-as-a-Brain" solutions, designing autonomous agents capable of performing multi-step network troubleshooting and closed-loop remediation.
Digital Twin Orchestration: Design and maintain a high-fidelity Digital Twin of the RAN/Core environment, enabling "what-if" simulations and predictive impact analysis for configuration changes.
FCAPS Intelligence: Architect data pipelines that ingest and normalize high-frequency Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security (FCAPS) data from multi-vendor (Ericsson, Nokia, etc.) environments.
Cross-Domain Correlation: Develop logic for correlating events across the Radio (RAN) and Core (5G/EPC) domains to identify root causes of service degradation.
Platform Strategy: Ensure Agentic and Twin solutions are scalable on GCP, utilizing Vertex AI and BigQuery for large-scale network telemetry analysis.
Domain-Specific Requirements
Radio & Core Expertise
Domain Knowledge: Expertise in 3GPP standards across 5G NR, LTE, and IMS (specifically RAN interfaces like X2/Xn and Core interfaces like N1/N2/N3).
RAN/Core Functional Mapping: Ability to map low-level network counters (KPIs) and signaling traces to high-level service impact.
Cloud-Native Telco: Experience with CNFs (Cloud-native Network Functions) and how they interact with the underlying Kubernetes/GCP infrastructure.
Network Data & Digital Twins
FCAPS Analytics: Advanced experience analyzing Performance Management (PM) counters and Fault Management (FM) alarms to build health-scoring models.
Graph-Based Modeling: Experience using Graph Databases or similar structures to represent network topology and dependencies for Digital Twin synchronization.
Simulation & Modeling: Knowledge of how to use live network data to feed simulation engines for predictive optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
Telecom Foundation: 10+ years in Telecom with a focus on Radio (2G-5G) and Core network architecture.
Advanced Architecture: Proven experience in High-Level Design (HLD) for large-scale OSS/BSS or Network Analytics transformations.
AI/ML Proficiency: Experience with GenAI Orchestration (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel) and understanding how to apply LLMs to structured network data.
System Modeling: Experience with modeling languages (UML, SysML) or Graph-based data modeling to represent network topology.
Cloud Native: Expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes, specifically for hosting heavy data-processing workloads.
Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Strong understanding of data platforms, APIs, and integration patterns.
Ability to lead architectural discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Automation: Experience with CI/CD and GitOps for network configuration management.
Desirable Skills
Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-driven systems.
Familiarity with telecommunications or large-scale data platforms.
Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
