Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop.
* Step up and guide shop operations in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager, including:
o Opening and closing the shop
o Managing and guiding the shop team
o Cash management procedures
* Opportunity to manage on occasion, leading to further development opportunities.
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment and undertake training to upskill and progress within the company.
* Provide an outstanding customer experience with a helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable approach.
* Accept bets per procedure, accurately processing customer bets through multiple channels (including betting terminals and EPOS system).
* Act as a Brand Ambassador and introduce customers to the multi-channel/digital journey.
* Work under pressure, stay calm, and continuously seek improvements for yourself and the shop.
* Maintain high-quality shop presentation standards throughout the day.
* Ensure all procedures (safety, compliance, and shop operations) are followed.
* Work effectively as part of a team and adhere to Social Responsibility duties.

* Keen interest in sporting industry/events with ability to build rapport with customers

* Organised, reliable, and dependable with a proven cash-handling ability
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Industry/retail experience is welcomed but not essential; full training provided on sport and betting related topics.
