Our client, a respected and long-established Agri business, is seeking an Agri Store Manager to lead their Buttervant (ideal location for those living near Mallow, Cork or Limerick). This is an exciting opportunity for a people-oriented professional with strong farming knowledge to take on a pivotal role. You'll lead the operations of a busy and well-established Agri store, ensuring excellence in customer service, team performance, and product delivery. Agriculture experience or knowledge is essential, along with a proven ability to engage with customers and deliver excellent service across a busy retail and Agri operation.
Key Responsibilities of the Agri Store Manager will include
1. Overseeing all daily operations on-site to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service.
2. Delivering exceptional service to a loyal and well-established customer base.
3. Driving sales performance and consistently achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) across all product areas.
4. Leading, coaching, and developing a dedicated team, promoting ongoing training and growth.
5. Upholding company standards and ensuring full compliance with operational policies and procedures.
6. Maintaining and enhancing health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for staff and customers.
Skills and Qualities Required for the Agri Store Manager Role
7. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, ideally with a background in advisory or sales within the agribusiness sector.
8. Strong and up-to-date knowledge of the Agri industry is essential.
9. Commercial awareness with a strong focus on achieving business targets and driving performance.
10. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
