About Well Café
Well Café is a new boutique café concept inspired by wellness, creativity, and community. Located beside FLX Pilates, the space focuses on speciality coffee, fresh food, and nourishing bakes — all made with quality ingredients and care. We're looking for a passionate Baker to join our team and help shape the food offering at our flagship Killarney location.
Role Overview
The Baker will be responsible for producing a range of high-quality baked goods that reflect the Well Café philosophy — simple, fresh, wholesome, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working creatively in a small team and takes pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and bake daily items including pastries, focaccia, cakes, granola, and energy balls.
* Develop and test new recipes that align with the café's brand and seasonal menu.
* Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control across all products.
* Manage baking schedules and ensure efficient production to meet daily demand.
* Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and minimise food waste.
* Ensure all baking and preparation areas meet HACCP and food safety standards.
* Collaborate with the café team to coordinate service and seasonal menu updates.
Requirements
* Previous baking or pastry experience in a café or kitchen setting preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Creative mindset with an interest in healthy, modern food trends.
* Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
* Early morning or flexible availability required.

Pay: €13.50-€18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 – 40 per week
