Our client is a global investment management firm, headquartered in the United States, with its European HQ in London. Following the consolidation of its Luxembourg office, the firm is rapidly expanding its Dublin team.
The Role – Investment Counsellor Investment Counsellor (Ireland, Denmark, Netherlands or Belgium Market, Dublin-Based)
You will manage high-net-worth client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for clients in Ireland .
You will manage relationships with high-net-worth clients. The role focuses on understanding client goals, clearly explaining portfolio decisions, and building long-term trusted relationships. You will work closely with a Team Manager who will support your ongoing development.
Candidate Profile:
At least 2 years' experience working with private clients in banking, wealth management or a related sector.
Strong understanding of financial markets, economic trends and core investment principles.
Fluent English and French, Danish or Dutch is an advantage.
Positive, resilient and empathetic approach to client relationships.
MiFID certification, training or equivalent.
CFA or similar professional education is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering consistently high standards of service.
Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
Act as the key link between clients and internal investment, research, trading and service teams.
Proactively communicate portfolio changes, market movements, and investment strategy.
Develop advanced knowledge of finance and capital markets through a structured training programme.
