We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance / Industrial Electrician to join our team in West Wicklow, Carlow, Kildare, and Wexford regions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Fully qualified Electrician (FETAC Level 6).
Minimum of 6 months post-apprenticeship experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Solid knowledge of facilities systems and PLCs; hydraulics and pneumatics experience is an advantage.
Background in the food manufacturing sector is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Innovative approach to solving complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Commitment to safe work practices and high safety awareness.
Competent IT skills.
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, control panels, and components.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
Work with PLCs and automated control systems.
Conduct quality testing and inspections of electrical installations.
Support shift cover as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to link operational efficiency with overall performance.
Adapt to working in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment.
