We are seeking an experienced BMS Automation Engineer to support operations within a state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility focused on API production.This is an on-site, office-hours contract role offering strong rates and long-term project potential, working within a collaborative environment that prioritises innovation, compliance, and continuous improvement.The RoleYou will provide technical expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS), supporting the design, operation, and optimisation of systems critical to manufacturing and facility performance.Lead the upgrade, operation, and optimisation of BMS systems (GxP & non-GxP)Support design, configuration, and commissioning of BMS infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve complex system and automation issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, QA, Facilities)Manage vendors and contractors for system upgrades and maintenanceDrive improvements in system performance, energy efficiency, and sustainabilitySupport integration of systems via protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPCEnsure compliance with GxP, GAMP, and regulatory standardsDegree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or related discipline3+ years’ experience with BMS / Building Automation SystemsExperience in pharma / life sciences / regulated environments (preferred)Strong knowledge of system integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC)Understanding of GAMP lifecycleISA S88 / S9521 CFR Part 11Strong communication and problem-solving skillsOn-site role – DublinOffice hoursCompetitive contract ratesOpportunity to work in a cutting-edge biopharma environmentIf you're an experienced BMS Automation Engineer looking for your next challenge in a high-performing pharmaceutical setting, apply now or reach out for more details.
