Senior Financial Planning Analyses Specialist (FPA) (m/f/x) – Dublin (IRL) | hybrid | Full‑time | Immediate Start
What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Planning Forecasting
Work with the CFO and run the annual and quarterly planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes using robust, driver‑based financial models (revenue, headcount, operating expenses, cash).
Analyse historical performance, trends, and business drivers to continuously improve forecast accuracy and predictability.
Partner with business leaders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and translate operational plans into financial forecasts.
Performance Management Reporting
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
Provide clear commentary and insights explaining performance drivers, risks, and opportunities for senior management.
Support internal leadership, investor, and board reporting through dashboards, KPIs, and structured reporting packs in collaboration with the CFO.
Financial Modelling Analysis
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models to support decision making, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.
Deliver ad‑hoc and strategic analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Business Partnering
Act as a finance partner to cross‑functional teams including Revenue Operations, Go to Market, RD, and People Operations.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Support business leaders with financial insights to inform commercial and operational decisions.
Systems, Data Process Improvement
Ensure consistency and integrity between planning data and financial actuals, working closely with the wider Finance team.
Leverage ERP systems (ideally SAP) and Power BI to enhance reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and data quality.
Contribute to continuous improvements in FPA processes, tools, and ways of working.
What You Bring To The Role
A third‑level degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a recognized accounting qualification is a strong advantage.
4‑5 years’ experience in FPA, financial analysis, or a similar commercial finance role.
Good working knowledge of IFRS and the ability to translate accounting impacts into FPA outputs (KPIs, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting).
Technology industry experience in a fast‑growing international setting is required; SaaS background is a plus.
Strong financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability and a structured, analytical mindset.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools such as Power BI.
Proven ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently due excellent time management.
Eligibility to work in Ireland and willing to travel internationally (10‑20% per month).
An openness to German expressions, given that the primary entity operates in Austria, as well as a strong interest in utilising AI tools in future initiatives, are considered advantageous.
