Key Engineering Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will provide critical support to the Facilities Operations, Utilities and HVAC teams.
* Designing and specifying clean utilities, and HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and/or controls for cGMP facilities
* Managing small-to-mid sized projects related to utilities and HVAC equipment and services
* Conducting troubleshooting for complex plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions
Responsibilities
1. Developing and implementing efficient solutions for clean utilities, and HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and/or controls in compliance with industry regulations
2. Leading project teams in designing, building and maintaining facilities and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to prevent facility-related issues
4. Providing expert technical advice and support to ensure smooth operation of facilities and maintenance activities
5. Serving as a subject matter expert on utility systems, and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents, investigating root causes and developing corrective actions
6. Implementing cost-effective solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime
7. Evaluating and selecting suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products and services
8. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of facility operations, maintenance activities and repair history
9. Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, policies and regulations regarding facility management and maintenance
Requirements:
• Proven experience in designing, building and maintaining large-scale facilities and infrastructure
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills
