About this role
The Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and project planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing cost and variation issues relating to construction contracts and NSWC contracts, including liaising with various business units for efficient progression of payments in accordance with contract conditions.
* Providing estimation support to the quotation team for large network projects based on first principles to deliver robust estimates and develop early contractor engagement to support the cost estimation process.
* Developing and managing standardised reports to improve reporting capability and enable analysis.
* Coordinating and monitoring cost engineering activities to ensure timely, accurate cost information and forecasts via organisational system tools and processes.
* Supporting Project Delivery Leads in developing Control Budgets/Costs/Forecasts with the Baseline Project Schedule and tracking emerging trends to recommend corrective actions as required.
* Supporting the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions on Financial Systems, including working with procurement and AP to ensure correct treatment of contracts, changes and invoices.
* Assisting with development of pricing quotations for network connections.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Experience in utilities, pharmaceutical or civil infrastructure or data centre sectors. This role has a mix of civil, mechanical and electrical experience.
* Quantity surveying qualification.
* 5+ years' experience working with project management, project controls, cost, scheduling, budget analysis, contract administration and change control estimating on large-scale capital investment projects.
* Good understanding of design, procurement, and construction management services processes and their inherent cost-performance risks is required.
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all project team members.
* Ability to work on one's own initiative and seek direction from the Construction Manager or Project Engineer as required.
* Demonstrated ability to manage teams and build effective organisational working relationships to achieve shared goals and objectives.

You will have a hybrid working model with very sociable hours(Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week). Three days at home and two in a North Dublin office. You will obtain 24 annual leave days / 10 paid Bank Holidays and 2 Company Days.
This role offers a competitive salary package with a minimum salary of €58,000 per year and a maximum salary of €73,000 per year. Other perks and benefits are also offered by the organisation.
